The Weaubleau R-3 School District has received confirmation that one of our staff members tested positive for COVID-19. Currently through contact tracing, four additional staff members have been quarantined. The first day of school has been moved to Tuesday, August 25. Fall practice schedules are set to begin. Make sure you have a physical on file before the first practice. Cross County - Monday - August 10 (3:00-5:00 pm) Softball - Monday - August 10 (4:00-6:00 pm) Baseball - Monday - August 10 (7:00-9:00 pm) Girls Junior High Basketball - August 17 (3:00-5:00 pm) Boys Junior High Basketball - August 17(5:00-7:00 pm)

Students in grade 7-12 can now view their schedule online through the lumen portal. If you have questions about your schedule please email Mrs. Seay.

Today is our LAST Food Day, same time and locations as last week. Food will be available at the school breezeway doors by the baseball field from 12:00-3:00 and at the Coon Creek Baptist Church parking lot in Collins from 12:00-1:00. Special thanks to the High School Basketball team for helping today.

ONLINE LEARNING APPLICATION Alternative Methods of Instruction -Extended (AMI-X) Application If you are choosing to participate in the AMI-X placement instead of traditional seated instruction please complete the attached application. If a student/parent chooses online learning because of COVID, they cannot change methods until the end of the semester. Re-opening COVID Plan 2020 It is the desire of the Weaubleau School District for our students to safely return to campus this August. We feel we can provide the best education for our students on site and in our classrooms. The District has developed health-related protocols which were created in conjunction with the local Health Departments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The protocols are based on best practices from schools and businesses around the area and recommendations from DESE, our staff and our community. Currently, we are planning for our students to return to school full time with safety measures in place. School policies must be flexible in responding to new information and we must be willing to refine approaches when specific policies are not working or new information dictates. These plans are intended to mitigate, not eliminate risk. NO single action or set of actions will eliminate the risk of COVID-19. Parents who choose not to send their students to school will have access to our Alternative Learning System with an approved application. If a student/parent chooses online learning because of COVID, they cannot change methods until the end of the semester. We ask for your patience and grace as we work through this together.
