Re-opening COVID Plan 2020 It is the desire of the Weaubleau School District for our students to safely return to campus this August. We feel we can provide the best education for our students on site and in our classrooms. The District has developed health-related protocols which were created in conjunction with the local Health Departments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The protocols are based on best practices from schools and businesses around the area and recommendations from DESE, our staff and our community. Currently, we are planning for our students to return to school full time with safety measures in place. School policies must be flexible in responding to new information and we must be willing to refine approaches when specific policies are not working or new information dictates. These plans are intended to mitigate, not eliminate risk. NO single action or set of actions will eliminate the risk of COVID-19. Parents who choose not to send their students to school will have access to our Alternative Learning System with an approved application. If a student/parent chooses online learning because of COVID, they cannot change methods until the end of the semester. We ask for your patience and grace as we work through this together.
