DR. DARRELL "JACK" HOLLEY MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP

Dr. Darrell “Jack” Holley was MUSIC’s first Executive Director. As a school business official with the Mehlville School District and president of MOASBO, he worked with the Arthur J Gallagher Company and others to create the MUSIC Program in 1985. Six scholarships (two in each category) of $2,000.00 each (nonrenewable) will be awarded to 2021 graduating seniors of districts that are MUSIC members. Only ONE application from your district is to be submitted. In districts which have multiple high schools, an application from EACH high school may be submitted. MUSIC K-8 districts are allowed to nominate one of their students. This nomination must be a student graduating from a Missouri public high school, which may be an additional selection from a K-12 district or from a high school not in the MUSIC program. MFA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

These scholarships are offered to high school seniors who are children or grandchildren (including step-children or step-grandchildren) of member-level customers of MFA Agri Services Centers, MFA Oil Company Bulk Plants and Propane Plants, and other MFA agencies. Applicants must be a resident of Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Arkansas or Oklahoma.

Eligible high school seniors can apply for the scholar­shiphere online. Additional information is available at participating MFA facilities. Applications will be available beginning Dec. 1, 2020, and must be completed and submitted online by Feb. 15, 2021.

HORATIO ALGER ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

The Horatio Alger Association annually awards more than $11 million in college scholarships and grants. The scholarship program provides financial assistance to students throughout the nation who have financial need and have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. Seniors planning to attend Missouri State University who have demonstrated academic achievement and a commitment to becoming a leader in an inclusive society are invited to apply for this $5000 scholarship! Recipients of this scholarship will be chosen by the Inclusive Excellence Scholarship Selection Committee. KANSAS CITY ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT DISTRIBUTORS SCHOLARSHIP

The Kansas City Associated Equipment Distributors awards up to four annual scholarships in the amount of $1000 each. Both men and women attending a vocational/technical school, and pursuing a certificate or associates degree in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Equipment Repair, are eligible to apply. One $2000 scholarship will be awarded to a Weaubleau High School Senior. The scholarship may be used at the college or university of student's choice and toward any course of student. The scholarship winner is selected by a local selection committee, in making its decision, the committee considers: Scholastic Progress, Citizenship, Extra Curricular Activities, Educational Plans & Financial Need. CMH MEDICAL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP

The Medical Excellence Fund was established by CMH to encourage students from the surrounding areas to begin a rewarding career in the medical profession and to provide the financial support to fulfill their dreams. Students planning to pursue college in the areas of medical school, nursing, therapy, pharmacy, and other fields are encouraged to apply. Scholarships are awarded based upon scholastic achievements, aptitude, financial need, and the available resources and professional needs of CMH. The amount of financial assistance varies with each recipient based upon the chosen medical field and the number of scholarships awarded each year. If selected for this scholarship, the student will commit to return to work for CMH for a period of time that is based upon the amount of assistance that was provided. Finish Line Degree Completion Grant (8-1) - college students with an outstanding balance that is preventing them from continuing their education (MO statewide, college)

MISSOURI BANKERS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The Missouri Bankers Foundation Scholarship Program is designed for graduating Missouri high school seniors who plan to pursue college studies in banking-related degree programs. These scholarships are made possible through the Willis W. Alexander Scholarship Fund and the John W. Rogers Memorial Scholarship Fund. Willis W. Alexander (1919-1985) was a career banker and a past president of both the American Bankers Association and MBA. Brothers John and James Rogers established the John W. Rogers Fund in 1997 in memory of their father, John W. Rogers, who was a career banker and past MBA president. These one-time $1,000 scholarships are awarded to seven Missouri high school students per year for first semester college tuition, books and fees.

MIKE ROWE WORKS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP (MIDWEST TECHNICAL INSTITUTE)

The application through the Mike Rowe Works Foundation involves registering for the program, completing the application, submitting a video, and attending a campus tour to complete an applicable program assessment and meet with financial aid. Deadline to apply is March 6.

AMERICAN BROADBAND HOMEGROWN LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP American Broadband Homegrown Leaders Scholarship is available for area High School Seniors pursing post-secondary education. These scholarships will be awarded to the students who best exemplify the commitment, passion and perseverance of a community leader.

US JCI SENATE FOUNDATIONS SCHOLARSHIP Each year, the U.S. Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation grants $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools. The number of grants awarded annually is at the discretion of the Foundation and must be used for educational expenses in the first year of full-time study. Checks awarded will be made out in the name of the recipient and the educational institution of the recipient’s choice. The Scholarship program for 2019-2020 is currently open.
